The Collective was founded three years ago by two brothers from Cape Town who grew up with a deep love for food.

Their journey took them around the world, working as chefs aboard luxury yachts, where their passion grew and they built a network of exceptional culinary talent. When they returned home, they set out to create something of their own – a collective of outstanding chefs focused on delivering effortless, beautifully curated experiences built around incredible food, genuine hospitality and unforgettable atmosphere, wherever you are.

From the initial planning stages through to the end of the evening, their professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail were evident. They took the time to help curate the perfect menu and ensured everything ran seamlessly.

What impressed us most was how naturally they fit into a private home setting. They were discreet and unobtrusive while working, yet warm, engaging, and happy to share a laugh whenever conversation arose.

The food was simply outstanding. Every course was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, with our guests still talking about it afterwards. It was clear that an enormous amount of skill and care went into every dish.

At the end of the evening, they left the kitchen spotless. It genuinely looked as though no one had been there, aside from the wonderful memories of an incredible meal.
